Ceremony & Reception Details
(Current arrangements, subject to change)

Wedding Ceremony:
- The ceremony will take place at the beautiful Waimea Falls Park, an Audubon Society sanctuary on the North Shore of Oahu, about 45 minutes from Honolulu and 10 minutes from Turtle Bay Resort. The lush valley is home to rare and endangered Hawaiian flora and fauna and features hundreds of acres of strolling paths and hiking trails, world class botanical gardens, and rich archaeological sites.
- All guests and families are invited to the wedding ceremony and reception.
- The ceremony will be held at the Upper Meadow, just down the hill from Waimea Falls. The meadow is about a half mile from the Visitors' Center and parking lot, up a paved path with a gentle incline. The stroll up to the ceremony site should take 10-15 minutes, but transportation will available for those who don't feel they can make the walk.
- The ceremony will begin after five when the park closes to the public, but please arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. to allow time to park and walk up to the ceremony site. Your admittance fee for the park will be taken care of beforehand.
- Attire for the ceremony and reception is aloha and informal, but we ask guests to dress suitably (for example; slacks, nice aloha shirt, summer dress, sandals or low-heeled shoes; no shorts please). Please consider shoes appropriate for the walk to and from the ceremony as well as the many grassy areas in the park.

Reception:
- The reception will begin after the ceremony at the Pikake Pavillion at the Visitors' Center, and will run until about 11 p.m., when the park closes for events.
Other Information:
- Waimea Falls Park is 45-60 minutes from Honolulu (driving details below).
- Guests are asked to provide their own transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. Taxis can provided for those that need them.
- To save you packing additional items, any wedding gifts can be mailed to our home, see the Registry section
- Wedding party photos will be taken during the cocktail hour in the park and just outside on Waimea Beach.
Address & Driving Directions:
Waimea Falls Park, 59-864 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa, 808.638.9199.
- From Honolulu, Waikiki or the airport, take the H-1 West, then H-2 North toward Mililani and Wahiawa.
- When H-2 ends (about midway up the island), keep going straight.
- After four stop lights you'll cross a bridge and then the road forks, keep right toward Haleiwa and the "North Shore."
- You'll pass the Dole pineapple plantation welcome center and maze (a bit touristy and expensive).
- Stay on the main road as it curves to the right (east) and bypasses Haleiwa (a charming little town if you have the time to drive through).
- After a couple miles you'll see the Pacific skirting the road on your left.
- Shortly, the road curves down and to the right, with a view of Waimea Beach. The entrance to Waimea Valley Park is at the head of this inlet, across the bridge from the beach entrance and just before the road starts curving back out to the left.
- The Visitors' Center and parking is about 3/4 of a mile up the park road from the entrance.
- If you pass Shark's Cove Beach or the Foodland supermarket you've passed the park entrance and gone too far. Turn around.
- See the Oahu map on the Map Page for more information
