(February) Cathy and I take a Caribbean cruise visiting St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Kitts.

The beach on Barbados and a rainbow over Dominica.

On the beach on St. Kitts, probably our favorite of the islands visited. More island scenery.

(March) A drunken "ski" weekend in Maine without any skiing. Me, Nikko, Mike, Kriner, Michelle, Alex, Anna and Jim I.

Jim R and I in the hot tub pointing out the sub-zero temperature

(March) On a visit to the UK for work, I take some time to visit the south of France. The Roman colosseum at Nimes (where denim was created, get it "de nimes"?)

The world heritage city of Avignon and the Papal Castle from which Catholic popes spread understanding and compassion during those enlightened middle ages.

I spent a few days in Nice, a very fun town with some great restaurants and bars.

The beach at Cannes, just down the coast (I didn't see anyone famous).

A day in Monaco, Monte Carlo, up the coast from Nice. The world-famous Monte Carlo Casino ("that's banco, Mr. Bond"). Behind me and the tourist's fiat is a row of Bentleys and Lambourghinis.
Giant yachts in Monte Carlo harbor. The old town and Prince Ranier's palace.
(May) A quick weekend trip to LA and a visit with Scott and Columbine in Venice Beach. As well as a trip down to San Diego and some drinks with Marc and Mallory.

Our new pup Barclay shortly after we brought her home.

On a trip to Nantucket with Jim, Anna and Mike, Barclay visits the ocean for the first time (and wasn't at all impressed).

(June) Back out to LA with the boys to celebrate Jim's bachelor party. Just for something new to do, Alex, Paul, Kriner, me, Jim, Rich and Mike have a drink in a bar.

On the beach in Santa Monica.

The fabulous and exclusive Hollywood Sky Bar and pool from our room. Rich generously put us up here for our last night in town. More beautiful people per square foot than anyplace I've ever been.

Jim and Amy's rehearsal dinner party.
Jim and Amy's wedding, a very enjoyable day with the gang.

More wedding photos: Alex, Kriner and myself. Mike and Joe (while he was still there).

Cathy and I.

Anna and Jim from a flattering angle (I must have been "resting" on the floor at this point).

The groomsmen goose the beautiful bride.

(July & August) Cathy and I spend the weekend in Rome on the way to our holiday in the Riviera. A very soggy day at the Forum.

It stops raining long enough to have our picture taken at the Trevi Fountain.

Cathy and the Colosseum.

Having endured a daylong soaking, wine spilled on the dress (Cathy's) and hours of walking finding only unromantic restaurants, I figure it's now or never and pop the question at a little streetside frommageria (she said "yes").

Our villa in the hills above Chateaneuf de Grasse, ouside Cannes, France. An amazing pad!

The view from the balcony to the Mediterranean in the distance.

Cath hangs out with kids (I would have too, but I was hungover that day... ok, every day).

During Mike and Teresa's three day visit to the villa, we travel to Nice for sightseeing and a lunchtime beer at Chez Wayne's bar (where I'd essentially lived during my visit five months earlier)

Kay, Cathy and KJ enjoy dinner at a local pizzeria. Phil and the kids in the pool.

The most impressive lightning storm I've ever witnessed. These photos were taken from the deck of the villa (inside, where it was slightly safer). The storm lasted so long and so many homes were damaged that the region was declared a disaster area.

(August) to celebrate the arrival of fall, we host a BBQ on the deck.

Michelle, Kelly and Amy prove me a lucky bastard.

(September) Cath and I head to New York City for a charity event in Harlem where she supervises the rebuilding of a roof.

After dinner in Little Italy, we can see the Twin Towers memorial, relit that night three years from the Day.

The next day, I head back into Manhattan to catch some football at the ESPNZone, then down to Chelsea where I end up watching the game in a private suite at JayZ's club 40/40 (at night, you need to purchase a $150+ bottle of champagne to get in, in the afternoon, just a Corona will do).

On Monday, Sheri and I catch up over some happy hour beers at Kennedy's pub in Midtown.

Barclay accesorized with her favorite tennis ball necklace.

(October) Cathy's family on Waikiki beach before the luau; Ted, Christina, Jon, Toni, Charlotte, Cathy and I.

Post luau, Cathy and I pose with tiki torches and Diamond Head for a backdrop.

Continuing our tradition of ending our annual Hawaii trip with a couple days on another island, Cathy and enjoy the amazing Princeville Resort on the northeast coast of Kauai.

I know many of you are big fans of musicals and here you'll recognize the scenery from South Pacific, the location where the hotel was built after filming.

Still on Kauai, the amazing vistas from atop the ridgeline along the Kanapali coast.

The Waimea Valley, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific."

(November) Barclay and I decide to take a road trip up to the Maritime Provinces; New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island & Nova Scotia. Barcs and I before the 8 mile long Confederation Bridge.

Chuck, Mike and I meet in Ft. Lauderdale to drink beer (giant margaritas in Chuck's case), watch the Patriots blow their undefeated streak and unbelievably, Bush win reelection (I pay for the weekend's booze by winning money from chuck on all these bets).

Barclay and Sebastian enjoy a very mild fall day.

Our annual Thanksgiving trip over to see Kay, Phil and the kids in England. Cathy entertains Toph, Ben and KJ, Kay entertains herself.

On the way back from dinner and drinks, Kay and Cathy wait patiently while Phil vainly (veinly?) attempts to extract his penis from a postbox.

Jim and Anna join us for the second year, as does Brigette, Cathy's friend in London. Here out to dinner with the usual suspects; Clive, Kay, Phil, Caron, xxx and yyy.

On

(December) The old FSN gang reunites in Orlando for the first time in 8 years. Jan and Dan join me for a cocktail at the party. After the event, Harris, Dan and John find a bar.

The following night, I brave my hangover to join Scott, Columbine, Dan, Susan, Jan, Sarah and Harrris for a farewell dinner before everyone heads home.

I take one last visit to the UK for business (and sadly to reach platinum status). On a trip up to London for a meeting, I pose in front of the Millennium Bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral.

Mid-morning (~3 a.m.) on New Year's Day. Amy, Michelle, Cathy, Alex, Jim and I remember to take a photo. We ended up unsuccessfully awaiting sunrise in the hot tub.
